What are some horror movies with masks

The ten trashiest horror films for Halloween

Rank 6: "Chillerama"

Sex addicted zombies, gay advertisers and "Anne Frankenstein's diary": The horror film "Chillerama" from 2011 is considered the ultimate homage to the grindhouse cinema of the 70s and 80s. Accordingly, this film, in which a zombie epidemic breaks out in a drive-in theater, is also bizarre. A must for fans of trash movies.

5th place: "Shock Labyrinth 3D"

This horror film from 2009 has it all. The film is about a girl named Yuki who disappears into a haunted house at an amusement park. Ten years later, Yuki and her friends meet again - with disastrous consequences. The horror film from Japan spreads little fear, however. Instead, it tends to elicit a smile or two from the viewer, because neither the 3D effects nor the horror elements really invite you to shudder.

4th place: "Girls with Balls"

A streaming film also made it onto our list of the trashiest horror films. "Girls with Balls" was released in 2018 and is a Franco-Belgian film from the genre "Dark Comedy Horror". It's about a volleyball team that gets lost together with its coach on the way to the training camp and ends up in a bar. There they meet a group of gloomy characters who finally hunt down the girls in the skimpy skirts. They defend themselves with their volleyballs in the manner of a player. Our fourth place among the trashiest horror films.

3rd place: "Sharknado"

The film "Sharknado" has become a real trash classic. It belongs to the genre of "Creature Features", ie horror films with animals or monsters. The television film, which first aired in 2013, is about sharks that were whirled by a tornado to Los Angeles and threaten the people there.

In general, some films from this genre have a high trash factor. "Three-Headed Shark Attack", "Sharktopus vs Whalewolf", "Zombiber" or "Zombies on a Plane" are just a few well-known titles that are worth watching.

2nd place: "Rubber, the killer tire"

"Rubber" is a French film released in 2010. The main actor is a murderous car tire. This comes to life at the beginning of the film and begins to roll over and kill small animals. But one night the tire observes how an inattentive driver drives into a woman and kills the man shortly afterwards. The murder of the "killer tire" begins.

Quentin Dupieux's film may not necessarily be assigned to the horror genre, but the title alone has high "trash potential" and deservedly lands in second place.

1st place: "Plan 9 from Outer Space"

The film from the sci-fi horror genre is considered by many horror film lovers to be one of the worst ever. As early as 1979 it was named the "worst US film of all time" in a reader survey in the book "The Golden Turkey Awards". The film, which is about the fight between humans and aliens, achieved cult status through the involuntarily funny actions and dialogues.

Incidentally, the film, which appeared in 1959, should not be confused with "Killer Clowns from Outer Space". If you want to be less scary and laugh more on Halloween, you should watch these two films one after the other.
